We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views and easy access to the train and bus stations. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They even took the extra step of washing the bed linens with non-allergenic detergent due to my allergy issues. The home was beautifully furnished and stocked with thoughtful extras like milk and toiletries. We would definitely consider staying here again if we return to this part of Scotland.

We had a fantastic stay at Midkinleith Farm Holiday Cottage. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The views from the cottage were simply stunning, and we loved being able to go for walks in the beautiful Pentland Hills. The attention to detail in the cottage was outstanding - from the quality of the beds and towels to the little extras like fresh milk and bread. It's clear that the hosts go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a comfortable stay. We also appreciated their efforts in accommodating my allergy issues by washing the bed linens with non-allergenic detergent. The location of the cottage was great, close to the train and bus stations, although the walk to the local bus stops was a bit far for someone with arthritis like myself. However, this was a personal issue and I would still highly recommend staying at Midkinleith Farm Holiday Cottage.

The cottage had a peaceful and accessible location, with lovely views, especially in the evening. It was well-equipped and homely, reflecting the care of the owners. It was also conveniently located for visiting nearby cities and had easy access to public transport.
Some areas of the cottage could have done with a bit more attention, such as dusting and a fresh coat of paint. the distance to the local bus stops could be inconvenient for those with mobility issues.
